Sampled from a flight of sampler glasses at the brewpub.

Buttery and flowery honey nose with a spiciness like horehound drops.

Flavor matches the initial aroma impression with a thicker than expected body.

Finish matches the herbal spicy tones of the nose. Drops into a finish that would be overly sweet if not for the spices on the tongue. Overall very nice beer, but one can only imagine what it would be like with more body and more alcohol.

Not too shabby. (The beer makes a better impression once I clarified with the bartender that this was a holiday beer. The horehound spicy notes in the brew were throwing me off if as I heard at first this is a honey lager!)
