Imagine her, it, the land… You are there with a half decent IPA made 6,000 miles away from where you usually lay your head (the land of “West Coast bangers”). Anyway, I’m here, happy… And along with my happiness is this good beer.

From Cervezasespeciales. In Teku glass. Playing Avernum 3. Well implemented belgian ipa, with belgian yeast notes soft yet easily noticieable and fresh citrusy hoppy notes. Carbonation is also belgiany, itchy without bothering

Lovely IPA. Pours a well looking beer with a solid head. Taste is standard and balanced but done well, very refreshing on a warm day. Recommended.

From tap into correct glassware at 't Brugs Beertje.
Pours an unclear light orange with a thick cap of foam.
Smell is quite west coasty, with nice pney resin and some citrus dominating the nose.
Taste is nicely bitter, with some piney resin and spruce shoots. Well balanced and drinkable.
Mouthfeel is medium and well carbonated.
Overall, a good Belgian take on a classic American style. I liked it!
