On tap at Mt. Emily 6.22.2010, $3 pint during happy hour.
One finger light tan head, quick dissipation, leaving thin layer of head on top of glass, some visible carbonation rising from bottom of clear light amber reddish body. Malt forward nose, sweet, not much hop presence, a little bit of floral character. Taste is also malty, sweet crystal malts, a faint hint of resiny hops in the finish, but not well balanced, especially for a purported 60 IBUs. Light mouthfeel, little if any effervescence, not sticky. Pretty drinkable in light of relatively high ABV. Probably fits within Imperial Red category, and on that note, this ain't Deranger. Worth a try.
