Had on tap at the Mt. Emily Ale House. Review from notes.

A: The beer was a clear copper color with a small off-white head with moderate retention leaving a very thin cap on top. Nice lacing though.

S: Some very faint hops, light citrus and grass with some pale malt and sweet caramel.

T: Again, light on the hops, there was a little bit of apple and citrus with some caramel.

M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

O: Very weak for an IPA with supposedly over 100 IBU. Underwhelming.

On tap at Mt. Emily during happy hour 1.6.11. Made me think about The Old Tavern Rat's "Happy hours are for whores" wisdom and smile..

Half finger broken white head due to full pour, quick dissipation with good lacing. Medium gold clear body, minimal visible effervescence, appears a bit undercarbonated. Nose feature faint citrus hops, grapefruit, some bready malts with floral hops on backend. Taste mirrors nose, IMO pretty nondescript, underhopped, not much flavor. Mouthfeel well on the light side of medium, minimal effervescence. Sessionable, but as far as PNW IPAs go, not very good, certainly not very memorable. Pass

On tap at the OBF yesterday. Was not familiar with this brewery, but assme this IPA was brewed just for the OBF.

The beer pours a solid gold color with good head retention and lacing. The nose was impressve and quite perfumy and floral, with some nice white pepper, light sweet malt and light pine as well. Very nice indeed... Flavors replicate the nose pretty closely (though it's not as floral) in this light, dry, but still full flavored IPA. Mouthfeel was light to medium bodied, and drinkability was pretty good. The beer finishes with a moderately long, dry and bitter finish.

A nice IPA and one I appreciated all the more for it's low abv.
