21 Feb 2013: Liverpool John Lennon airport, The Argosy, a Wetherspoons while waiting for a flight to Berlin. Two hand-pulled pints into UK sleeve glasses.
Golden body with a creamy head in both colour and texture.
The whole thing was a fine blend of flavours: the hops and barleys complimented each other very well and I really enjoyed the two pints. The hops just about took control, but overall it seemed a well balanced beer and easy to drink. Nothing complicated, just a good basic beer.
I've only had beers from this brewery within Liverpool airport: I always head for The Argosy now to see what is on offer from Wrights.
