L- Quite bright dark amber, radiantly clear, pours with 3mm fine-bubble white head.
S- Mild grain.
T- Quite bright hoppy and into a toasty middle. They remain in parallel into the finish.
F- Well balanced, nothing of note out of place here. This is labelled as 'golden ale', which apparently is similar to an EPA.
O- Eminently sessionable. The profile would be versatile through the seasons.
Bought from the English Heritage shop at Carisbrooke castle on the Isle of Wight. £3.25/500ml bottle. BB: Nov-2020
