L- Rich golden amber, clear, pours with 2mm white head, holds well.
S- Fresh and zesty, but bready too.
T- Hoppy bright and zesty. Bitter dry hops, enough to make me cough!
F- Quite pungent bitter hopping over relatively thin body.
O- Dry, prominent bitter hoppy; this would work better in hot weather. It has a quite contemporary bright hoppy profile. Overall it's a bit too bitter, bright and light % for me.
500ml bottle BBE Aug-20 £3.25, bought (for me) from an English Heritage shop at some stately home on the Isle of Wight.
Lable says: 'Blonde, hoppy, citrusy, zesty'. Ingredients include both barley and wheat.

Clear golden color with frothy white head. Aroma is really mellow, just some clean malts and earthy hops. Taste starts with generic hops and a bitterness that builds up towards the finish and gets even more intense on the aftertaste and lingers with grapefruit pith flavor. Medium body and carbonation, feels somehow heavy when you swallow it. Overall it's a well made beer with a good drinkability but it doesn't have a remarkable flavor.

A: Served a golden color with a good head that fades to some lacing.
S: Aroma of fresh fruit and a bit of malt sweetness.
T: Has a nice citrus bite with some malty sweetness. A nice bitterness and a clean finish.
F: Fairly light body, refreshing.
O: Easy drinker, good session beer. Nice summer beer while relaxing in Cowes.

Coming in a 500ml brown bottle, not bottle-conditioned; BB 12/10/2011, served cool in a straight imperial pint glass.
A: golden in colour, the constant streams of carbonation consist of tiny bubbles only, while the fluffy white beer head retreats fast to a thin sheet to last.
S: the nice and clean aroma of citrus fruits comes hand in hand with the soft, gristy pale malts, laced with occasional whiffs of nectar and extra fruity notes. The balance gears towards the sweet side, as the beer warms.
T: clean and refreshing comes the foretaste, featuring tangy citrus seeds & peels and floral notes, underlined by light-flavoured pale malts and closely ensued by fast developing streams of tannic hop bitterness that lasts brilliantly towards the long finish.
M&D: clean, refreshing, softly-fizzy on the mouthfeel, while the level of hop bitterness lends a very good structure all in all on the palate. While it is not complex, I find this pale bitter not only easy-drinking (for a Bitter lover) but also thirst-quenching – definitely a “session beer” choice for me. Looking forward to trying it on cask in the near future!
