Contract brewed for Beuflor/La Calendula restaurant
Muddy tan with loose off-white froth.
Heavily perfumed nose with some wax.
Country loaf and lemon peel, then fruity flowers into Noble hops bite.
Peach finish and drying floral linger. Light to medium, slight cling, crisp but oily.
With calendula, marigold and hibiscus, plus Centennial and Fuggles.
Interesting proof of concept. Probably not a great (wheat?) beer underneath and a bit too much like putting woodruff syrup in like the Polish do. But would do well in summer or with food.
