Its clear, very dark amber/copper body rests beneath a short lived head of off-white foam that dissipates rapidly leaving nothing but a thin collar in its wake. The aroma, however, is much better that its appearance with some grassy, leafy and floral hops appearing over a caramel-drizzled grainy malt. Its medium body and fine, moderate carbonation leave it lightly crisp on the tongue. In the flavor, a bold bitterness backs its lightly caramelish and nutty malt, accentuated by grassy, floral and leafy hops. It finishes dry but with some sticky malt and a lingering bitterness at the back of the throat. Still, it's not a bad beer to have with some of their Barbecued Baby Back Ribs or a Barbequed Pork Sandwich.
