A clear, orange-ish copper body rests gently beneath a short cap of creamy off-white foam. The head retention is limited and it drops shortly, but still finds a way to leave some splashes of lace about the glass. The nose expresses sweet malt, and the flavor follows with the sweet and juicy maltiness of Munich and Vienna malts. The body is decidedly medium and its fine, moderate carbonation leaves it lightly crisp and then subtly creamy across the palate. A firm bitterness keeps the malt in check but never steps out of bounds, and it finishes drying with a nice note of toasty, sweetish Vienna malt that lingers in the aftertaste.
