Good cider, tasty, but could hardly taste any pepper. Needs to have way more pepper!

On-tap at Fat Head's in N. Olmsted, Ohio
Pours black with a kahki head; nice lacing and retention. Wow! This beer might have the smokiest nose I've ever encountered. Tons of smoke and charred peppers. The chipotle is very noticeable in the aromas. Hints of chocolate malts in the background as well. The flavors are full of malts. Lots of cocoa. Lots of smoke. The pepper flavors are there, but it's not spicy at all. Not much heat to this one. Very earthy and grainy. Mouthfeel is full-bodied; fluffy and creamy with moderate carbonation. Extremely smooth. Easy to drink and alcohol goes unnoticed.
This is a great beer. Don't expect it to be spicy or finishing with heat, but it's extremely well crafted. Very nice Imperial Porter infused with peppers.
