What’s a triple IPA you ask? Take an Imperial
IPA to the next level: more malt, higher ABV,
more hops. Chinook and Citra hops provide a
citrus, tropical fruit and piney aroma. Dank Sinatra will
serenade your taste buds.

Thought I would try an actual rating after trying this at the brewery yesterday - $6.75 for a 12 oz snifter at the North Olmstead location.
Look - Poured a coppery orange-yellow with about a 1/8 inch head. No lacing, as one would expect from something with this ABV.
Smell - It smells like a potent IPA. It's all hops with a tad bit of a fruity undercurrent beneath all that pine. The 2021 brew has Mosaic, Simcoe and Citra hops listed, so it is apparently different than the original version listed here (the ABV was also marked as 10.0% ABV with 100+ IBU). I don't know hops well enough to say which was dominant.
Taste - Great! I'm not even a big IPA guy but found the bitterness pleasant. As dank and resinous as advertised. It was a consistent hoppy bitterness to me with a big herbal profile and a little something extra in the citrus and possibly even toffee undertones deep down.
Feel - It's deceptively smooth. The bitterness lingers in a pleasant way and yet feels well-rounded.
Overall - It was well worth the price of admission and I'm not even a big IPA guy. You know this brewery doesn't skimp on its IPA game.

A phenomenal beer. A close analog to Enjoy By or Waldo's Special actually. Bold, savory hops with boozy warmth. This may actually be the best FatHead's beer I've tried to date.

10oz snifter at Fat Heads N.Olmstead brewery for $6.75 American dollars.
Light copper/honey colored brew with a 1/2 finger, slightly off-white head which quickly dissipates to a rim. Minimal lacing which is par for a high ABV brew.
Citrus, pine, honey, light caramel and earth, in that order.
It's citrus and pine throughout with a nice dank, smooth bitter aftertaste.
Yes you get some sticky, resinous characteristics but the alcohol is well hidden and the mouthfeel is oh so smooth for the amount of hops and subsequent ABV.
This is a well done Triple IPA (which needs its own category). I prefer Hop Juju for the overall flavor profile and lower ABV, but really, this is another example of Matt Cole and FHs ability to explore and create with hops.

This stuff went down way to easy. I was not expecting something this smooth, when I ordered a triple IPA. And it tasted great too.
I'm definitely looking forward to my next one.

LOOK: A hazed light amber color with a white head that dies down quickly. A big beer for sure by the looks of it.
SMELL: Tropical alcohol wasteland. Like an IPA on steroids.
TASTE: Tropical flavors from the hops like chalky papaya, pineapple, tangerine and grapefruit. Pine, resin, tongue coating resin. Alcohol, even a hint of dark fruit. Bitterness is ample also slight honey and toffee. Orange citrus. Marmalade. Definitely toffee and heat in the warming finish.
FEEL: Smooth, even chewy, and warming. Full bodied with a medium carbonation.
OVERALL: Big hoppy Barleywine, or triple IPA. Reminds me of an American Piraat.
