I could smell this one from the pint glass, which was sitting on the table in front of me. I knew it would be good, and it was. There's no need to describe it really, just go drink one & experience it for yourself. All I will say is it's very juicy and resinous with enough tropical fruit flavor to put a smile on your fat head!

Had a pint with lunch today at the Portland location for $5.50.
Beer poured golden with an OK white head that dissipated pretty quickly.
Nose was nice, very fresh citrus is present throughout the entire pint.
Taste is grapefruit rind forward that blends well with the pale malt base.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and fairly refreshing.
Overall a solid IPA that is worth a try.

This was a fresh hopped version that I tried. Light aroma but big flavor. Pineapple and mango, tropical fruit bomb. Bitterness gives a pleasant kick to this.

Big bitter grapefruit on the finish of this. Nowhere near my favorites from PDX Fat Heads but that's merely because they have insane hoppy beer depth. A classic IPA style with IBU blasting at the end.
