IBUsive with fresh Amarillo hops. Tap at the brewery.
Nice foamy creamy 1/2 finger head fades slowly with great lacing, hazy honey orange color.
Nose big fresh hops, piney and resinous, seems almost like the mixed up mosaic for amarillo, fresh citrus notes, mild pineapple, tangy dank, hint sweet malt, brewer swears it was amarillo but not mosaic, let's see how it tastes.
Taste brings mix of citrus, pineapple, grapefruit rind and more pine and dank resin again! Mild tropical, generic fruity, tastes like amarillo and mosaic mixed, juicy fruit, dank resin, piney earthy, fruity juice but dank grassy as well. Finish drier spicy, big pine dank resin, grassy tropical notes and fair bitterness.
Mouth is med bod, little creamy, nice carb.
Overall wtf, def amarillo according to the brewer, but tastes like a ton of mosaic characters, which are not there in the base beer.
