This was a mescal barrel aged IPA.
I found lavender and jasmine notes with a curious wormwood finish, this reminded me of an absinthe inspired IPA. From their description:
"Purple worm: blend of mescal barrel aged head hunter IPA and sunshine daydream with grapefruit zest pine and lavender." It was incredibly complex and interesting, and one I would love to revisit.
