Served in a pint glass, tap pour. Clear smells and tastes of Pineapple and orange. Thin lacing. Low bitterness decent crushable beer.

Description: Clear, light golden color with a fluffy white head and a bit of lacing. Smell is tropical and citrusy with a hit of dankness. The taste is dominated up front with citrus - I got a bunch of lemon. The aftertaste is clean and somewhat bitter. Overall, the taste is pretty balanced and somewhat complex. Feel is smoother and less carbonated than most IPAs.
Suggested food pairing: Summer salad with chicken and strawberries
If you like this beer then you should also try: Any respectable Fat Head's IPA
Overall: 4.25 (This beer is good and I would likely drink it again) This isn't the best IPA Fat Head's produces by any measure, but that's sort of like saying a movie isn't the best one starring Jean-Claude Van Damme: they're all pretty impressive so just being in that category means it's doing well. Nothing not to like here. Really smooth mouthfeel and a taste that's nicely balanced between bitter and fruity. Drink without reservation.

Had to try this new fat head ipa, and it's tasty, but it's no headhunter. It's also odd--there's some fruit flavor, and it's unusually sweet and sticky and thin on the mouthfeel. Not disappointed I tried this, but I'll skip it next time

On tap at Pies and Pints Easton. This beer is incredible. Haven't heard much about the comet hop varietal, but wow. A cool story as well - beer named in honor of pies and pints employee who recently lost his young son.
Hope to see this deliciousness in the future.
