This heady brew is heavily roasted with creamy flavors that come from the combination of flaked barley and chocolate malts.

Dull black at the top, lightening to clear red-brown at the bottom, topped by a fuzzy tan film and a thicker collar.
Smell is roasty with notes of wood, nuts and tobacco.
Taste is smoky and tobacco forward with an uncannily distinct and potent note of tangy roasted bitter cacao bean. A slight touch of sweet cherry wood maybe comes out in the swallow.
The medium body has a filling froth with a semi-dry finish.
I eat whole roasted cacao beans by the handful, and this is the most accurately this flavor has been conveyed in beer form that I've experienced, including in beers that actually add cocoa nibs or cacao beans. I'm not sure if that was intended, but I love it and think this will be an excellent base for the barrel aging the draft list description mentioned this was heading for.
