10 oz pour on tap at the salon in Pittsburgh. This is the BA version aged in Jameson whiskey barrels.
A: Super rich dark black body pretty much expected. Not much of a Head to speak of just small and white.
S: lots of cinnamon a little pepper.
T: Lots of the cinnamon comes through but there is a chocolate flavor as well and a little bit like graham crackers. Maybe a light aftertaste of bourbon on the finish.
M: Medium bodied with just a slight thinness.
O: It’s not a bad beer but I’m not sure what Barrel Aging brought to the table. Wish it were more pepper forward as well.
