I guess they brew this every year picked up from the mad Mex location in waterworks during happy hour for only 3.50 bright golden yellow color with a very decent half inch of foam. Smell and hop presence are very juicy bright and mix of citrus and floral. Body is very smooth quite easy to quaff. Not much else to say it's a very well balanced IPA. Shame they only brew it once a year or I would drink it again

Had this on 2019-12-15 near Pittsburgh, PA from a Mad Mex fresh growler. This is Mad Mex's 26th anniversary beer, which is created and brewed by Fat Head's.

A - Lightly-hazy gold with a 1-finger white head and good lace

S - Very aromatic. You can smell it from 3 feet away. Moderately dank, pineapple and onion.

T - Pine, orange and grapefruit, pineapple, onion, earthy spice. Appropriately bitter.

M - Medium body and carbonation. Resinous.

0 - Very high quality West Coast style IPA that is worth seeking out each year. I could have used less onion in the flavor though since I'm sensitive to it.
