Pours a mostly clear deep amber color with two fingers of white head. Not what I was expecting based on the name.
Aroma of grapefruit, melon, flowers, rosemary.
Flavor is earthy. Over ripe melon. Citrus and herbs. Finished dry and slightly bitter. Again not what I expected.
Overall this is an enjoyable beer to drink but this definitely did not seem like a hazy to me.

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local beer store just around the corner. It poured a hazy orangish with thin white head that is leaving a nice lace. The scent had subtle dank fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with dank stonefruit base and bitter tropical fruit citrus finish. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Poured into a 13 oz tulip glass canned on 12/17/2020. Pours a cloudy dark orange with a 2 finger sticky white head that leaves thick streaks of lace with amazing retention. 4.5
Aroma tangerine, papaya, melon, marijuana, apricot, and maybe a hint of grapefruit. 4.5
Taste follows tangerine, papaya, cantaloupe, jump out first with a hit cannabis, apricot, and grapefruit. 4.5
Mouthfeel is above average, soft gentle carbonation, maybe a touch sticky but not dry, and at 8% it is loaded with flavor but goes down very easy. 4.5
Overall this is a really nice DIPA, without a doubt I would look forward to drinking this again. Thanks @jzeilinger for this can. 4.5

A - Hazy dark gold color with a nice one finger layer of creamy foam with moderate and steady carbonation.
S - Tropical fruit aroma with sticky, dank orange, pineapple, and mango.
T - Follows the nose in every way along with the added nuance of tangerine. A big, fruity attack on the palate: tangerine, orange, pineapple, and mango. Ends with a light moderate citrus bitterness and a long, lingering, resiny finish.
M - Big medium body that's pillowy soft with a semi-dry finish.
O - This is a really fantastic D-IPA. Worth checking out.

1 PINT can
Served in a stemless wine glass
This beer pours a reddish shade of orange and is turbid. It is topped with a mountain of beige head that leaves some excellent lacing.
It has a citrus and melon aroma.
The taste is tropical fruit up front. I get melon through the middle. Citrus flavor in the back end. Grapefruit and pine in the finish.
Medium bodied with a creamy mouthfeel
It's a pretty good beer. Fatheads does a much better job at non-hazy IPAs though.

Canned on 4/20/20. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy and glowing orangish golden; creamy off-white head that falls slowly leaving great thick retention and sticky lacing. The aromas have some tropical notes, especially watermelon. Some fresh bread and crackers. Malts are there. The flavors basically follow the nose for the most part. More hints of watermelon along with some melon. Hints of pineapple. Lots of fresh grass. More hints of bread and crackers in the mix. Solid bitterness. Malts do their thing without dominating. Finishes juicy and dry at the same time. Alcohol basically goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is very nice. It's on the lighter side of full-bodied with moderate to active carbonation. It's sharp, smooth and very fluffy.
This is a pretty solid New England IPA. It's very clean and refreshing. The craftsmanship is on point. It might not be "intense" or anything super crazy, but it's simply enjoyable and fun to drink.

12oz. Can poured into a stemless wine glass.
Pours a very hazy orange color with a 2 finger off-white head that leaves spotty lacing.
Sweet orange, lime skin, mango and faint pepper on the nose and palate. Slightly more bitter finish than most NEIPAs but I like that.
Medium mouthfeel with light carbonation. Smooth and soft.
I really enjoyed this one. It’s more of a NEIPA with a west cost vibe. Either way, the flavors although not the most complex, are deep and satisfying. Wish I would have bought more than a four pack. Recommended.
