From the growler via Jungle Jim's Eastgate in a snifter. This solid little
BSDA pours a light amber with reddish pink touches and a nice head of
off white foam that settles to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and
shows off some mighty fine lacing. Nose of floral honey, ginger,
herbal notes, and sweet malts with astringent booze. Flavors
surpass the nose with a ginger and floral / herbal note drenched in
candy and honey with a dash of brown sugar, astringent booze,
and sweet herbal notes that show nice balance. Excellent mouth
feel; smooth, medium creaminess, sweet, light carbonation, and
a finishing sweet, spicy, and warm with touches of ginger and
sweet brown sugars.
Overall---another WOW brew from the Fat Head feller
up north....gotta visit this brewery!
Cheers
