Tasted from a 12 oz can acquired in Ohio.
L - Color is a dark straw or light gold. Good clarity with just a hint of haziness. Massive, foamy, off-white head has impressive staying power and is sticky and leaves huge sheets of lacing as the glass is swirled.
S - Beer has an assertive, fresh-hop nose and leans hard toward the West Coast style of IPA. The hops are mostly citrus, primarily navel orange, but is backed by some pine notes. Although the hops are the focus, the aroma is not insanely strong and in-your-face compared to some IPAs. A little malt sweetness as the aroma fades after a sniff.
T - The flavors are pretty run-of-the-mill for an American IPA; nothing spectacular for the style. As in the aromas, citrusy hops are the emphasis, but there is less of the pine in the flavor. There is some significant malt presence; it is bready and slightly sweet. There is also a very slight savory note that does not positively contribute to the flavors and that I interpret as oxidation, but it is at a very low level.
F - Moderate body with some mouth-coating sweetness; could be lighter and crisper for the style. Moderate carbonation. High hops bitterness, but not overly high for the style. I have had pale ales that seemed to deliver higher apparent IBUs than this. Low alcohol presence is not a big part of the character of the beer.
O - This is a decent West Coast-style IPA, but nothing to write home about. I had hopes that the wet hopping might provide some unusual freshness and dankness, but I don't get it here. Also, the flavors have that odd savory note that distracts me even more from the hops flavors that are here. It is visually excellent, however, with a truly impressive head.

Pours completely translucent gold. A shade darker than straw, not quite amber. A finger of white bubbles reducing to a heavy ring leaving residual lacing with each sip. Aroma is strong bitter hop, pine, citrus, and light breadiness. Taste follows suit with a good punch of bitterness and some dank and piney undertones. Dry, grassy finish. Perfect carbonation. Crisp and clean mouthfeel. Delicious.

From a 12oz can dated 10/8/21 into a pint glass.
Pours a completely translucent golden color with about two fingers of white head. Ok retention and lacing.
Smells of pine, grass, floral and a hint of sweet citrus.
Taste is bitter, piney, resiny with a sweet finish. Solid west coast IPA taste.
Sticky, dry mouthfeel. Maybe a touch thin but incredibly easy drinking. Light bitter aftertaste.
I'm partial to wet-hopped beers. This one is really, really good. But falls just short of great.

I got one of these super fresh - 9 days old - from my friendly brew vendor, Save On. I am checking out Beer Snobs.org in another window.
This freshie pours translucent, deep gold with light fizz. The aroma is pretty skunky, even a bit of arm pit, nice. It has a clean, crisp, bitter taste, but only moderately so. It very refreshing, with no overload - not thick at all, but not too thin. It finishes dry. This would go well with food.
Highly recommended. This is a very refreshing, moderately strong IPA.

Shimmering burnt gold with a tall khaki foam head.
Dank and spicy, this translates to my palate more like a solid classic West Coast IPA, as opposed to a fresh hop brew, which is all the better. The clean, crisp body has a little toasty cracker accenting the predominant grapefruit and peppery cannabis before finishing semi-dry.
---
Having again in late 2022, not realizing it was the same beer I'd had before, I found it to be very orangey up front, like satsuma, and even zesty. It then slowly settled into a more assertive resin and pine, but also a little toasty cracker.
Zippy and buzzing, this is a punchy quaffer, while gassy in a somehow pleasant way.

Served in a pint glass
This beer pours a brilliant golden hue. It is topped with a few inches of beige head that leaves spotty lacing.
The smell is dank and has citrus and pine.
The taste is dank up front. There is citrus through the middle and into the finish. Mild pine in the finish.
Medium bodied and an incredibly smooth mouthfeel
Fatheads kills the IPA game. This beer is dank, fresh and delicious.

Canned on 9/24/20. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours golden with great clarity and transparency with bubbles racing upwards; white head falls leaving nice retention and lacing. The aromas have some pepper skin along with some tropical notes. Mosaic hops seem to take the lead. Some malts. The flavors follow the nose. More pepper skin. Hints of grapefruit. Some pine needles and fresh grass. Subtle spiciness. Nice sharp bitterness. Malts are there but take a backseat. Alcohol basically goes unnoticed for the most part. Mouthfeel is very nice. It's medium-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, crisp, spritzy and smooth.
This is a great IPA. Great hop aromas and flavors. The craftsmanship is on point. It's bold and aggressive while ultimately remaining balanced. Well done.
