Prepare your palate to surrender to this two-fisted brew. Aromas of chocolate and dark fruit will initially assault your senses. Smooth and creamy with rich, complex flavors of dark dried fruits, licorice and molasses.

Look: Brown cola colored with ruby highlights and a thin khaki head.
Smell: Kola nut, licorice, dates, and just a hint of dark chocolate. A kiss of smoke on the finish.
Taste: Fruit leather, date cake, some lights caramel, kola nut, licorice, and leather.
Feel: Smooth and medium body. Maybe a bit thin. Easy drinking. Prickly carbonation. No alcohol.
Overall: A tasty smooth porter. Really complex and compelling to the palate. Goes down smooth. My only real qualm is the light thinness to the body. One I would definitely order again.

From tap at Fat Head's Saloon South Side Pittsburgh with Leah. Definite licorice right away. Went great with her Rueben sandwich. It is sweet, so be careful if sweets are not your thing.
