Live review. Poured into a clean, clear pint glass. Notes from the brewery: A west coast style IPA brewed with Chinook, Warrior, Columbus, Simcoe, Centennial and Amarillo hops, this West Coast IPA is tribute to our California brewing buddies.
A Somewhat cloudy, minimal orange and straw yellow body under a nice, fluffy head that sticks around for a few minutes. 4.0
S HOPS! With 6 different types of hops you would expect that. I am glad to report that I also smell some malt balance in the background. 3.5
T This beer certainly has the bitter hops going for it but it is really well made past that with a nice sweetness to it to balance out the grapefruit bitterness. I really appreciate that they balanced this beer out as it could have been a one note (bitter hops) beer. 4.5
M Full, with hops and sweetness. 4.0
D Good drinkability which for me is really saying something for a beer of this style. I could see having two pints of this with no problem. 4.0
