Draft at the brewery in Cleveland
Pours a big fizzy dense head with good retention, sticky lacing, clear amber to auburn color
Nose sweet caramel toffee malts toasted grain, little sweet candy, bread crusty, little perfumey alcohol, light spicy hops
Taste brings big sweet malts, candy, a bit syrupy, caramel and toasted sweet malts, big spicy hops with med higher bitterness, turning quite spicy late with high bitterness
Mouth is med to fuller bod, med higher frothy carb, light warming alcohol
Overall good American barleywine, highly hopped but normal for American style
