16oz pour from Fat Heads Pittsburgh, served in an English-style pint glass

A - served with almost three-quarters of an inch of loose but creamy white foam. the beer is dark gold in color, crystal clear. leaves behind a thick sticky layer of foam all the way down the glass.

S - heavy toasted and crispy malts, piney resinous hops provide an assertive bitter punch while crackery and lightly sweet caramel malts add balance.

T - starts off lightly sweet with caramel and toasted bready malts, very clean and crisp through the middle, finishes with some bittering but very well controlled crunchy piney hops.

M - medium bodied with strong but not distracting carbonation...finishes with just a bit of lingering grassy bitterness but very clean, a great beer with food.

D - quite dangerous, ABV is insanely well hidden and while being full-flavored, nothing in here will wear on you. good balance and overall well executed.

Had from a fresh growler poured at Fat Head's Pittsburgh.

A-pours a clear golden orange color with a dense creamy white head.

S-the nose has a lightly toasted bready malt, a good bit of caramel and brown sugar, notes of sticky pine and a touch of grapefruit in the back.

T-the taste is quite nice, subtle notes of caramel and toasted bread, brown sugar, a touch of pine, nice hops presence in the back, grapefruit and light bitterness. very different bock, strong hop presence.

M-smooth and syrupy with a lighter medium body and enough carbonation to hold throughout. the finish has a hint of crispness and is very oily throughout.

D-this has huge balance and almost seems like an imperial ipa. very hoppy with a good malt presence, quite drinkable!
