The menu says...
"Anytime is good for a great easy-drinkin' Irish Lager. Aroma of toffee and toasted bread. Smooth and very drinkable with sweet toasted caramel malt, toffee, bread and a nice clean, lightly hopped finish. 5.2% ABV."
On tap @ Fat Heads Cleveland. Served in a pint glass for around $4.50.
Appearance: the beer has a nice look - it's between an amber and copper orange. The fluffy white head leaves decent lace and then beer looks beautiful in terms of clarity.
Nose: Irish toasted malt is clean a nice touch of hops add earthy balance. Some caramel rounds out a simple and sweet nose.
Thankfully, the taste isn't that sweet. There's a good toasted malt character, and some toffee and caramel. Minimal grassy, earthy hops and a clean lager yeast makes this a winner.
The body is light and the carb is spot-on. Really good session brew here!
