Poured in a snifter from tap, the body is a gold-orange that is slightly hazy. Small head and not much lacing.
Aroma is clove and bubble gum.
Taste follows nose but less amplified. A soft bitterness overshadows the banana and clove, but doesn't completely hide them.
Mouthfeel is soft with good carbonation.

Having this on tap at the brewery, this beer draws a clear, light to medium golden color. Head is about 1/3 of an inch thick one first drawn and served. Head settles quickly to a thick ring lining the inside of the glass at the beer’s surface along with a nice film layer of surface foam. Aromas of some bready malts along with orange peel, coriander clove and banana along with a bit of Belgian candi sugars. A similar profile, with the bready malts along with the aforementioned orange peel, coriander, clove and banana notes along with some bubblegum and the aforementioned Belgian candi sugar. The spice here is quite nice and not quite the type of spice I’m used to and this style of beer. I like the unique take that Fat Head’s has done on this style. In some ways, it’s like a cross between a hefeweizen, a wit bier, and a Belgian triple. Don’t think I’ve ever experienced anything quite like that before, and I am quite enjoying it here. Good balance of flavors. As a crisp, also smooth, medium to full body mouth filled with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish, and all of the flavors linger nicely on my palate for a while after each sip for the aftertaste. A unique and interesting take on this style of beer.

Tasted on tap at the North Olmsted production facility. This was a very good Belgian-style Tripel. It had a sharp bitterness along with crisp grain and characteristic Belgian yeast; all the key points that I hope for in a Tripel.
