A- Pours a dark brown color almost black with a light brown colored head. Head becomes a thin layer of bubbles and leaves some nice layered lacing.
S- A rich smell of coffee, roasted malts, a touch of chocolate. A very light earthy hop smell too.
T- Dominanted by coffee, with a bit of roasted malts, chocolate and a touch of darker fruits. Hops are very very light here.
M- A bit lighter in body than I'd prefer. Lighter side of medium in body and lower end on carbonation.
O- Pretty solid brew. If your a porter fan this one should be right up your alley.

Fatheads : Mean Joe Bean (coffee porter)
Pours a rich, dark brown with an off white khaki head. Aroma of fresh brewed coffee and dusty cocoa. In the taste, premium dark roast coffee flavors, roasted malt, light cocoa and well balanced effortlessly with a mild herbal hop. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, finishes with some bitter coffee in the aftertaste. Another well brewed beer from Fatheads, but Ive come to expect nothing less.
