I had this on tap at the brewpub. The menu notes: "This is the beer that Matt brewed at Shepherd Neame in England. A golden bitter ale based on a British recipe but hopped with American Centennial & Citra resulting in a tropical fruit aroma which leads to a slightly nutty malfunction flavor and a pleasing citrus hop finish".
The beer is crystal clear and light gold colored, sporting a frothy white cap with tons of lace. Definitely a bitter based on aroma, toasty and nutty with a hops treatment more akin to a pilsner than an IPA (which this of course is not). Same with the flavor, where the hops come through a little more in the aftertaste. Again more bitter than citrusy, somewhat disappointing to my tastes but I get what he was going for. not really something I'd care for twice, but not horrible.

Fatheads Yakima Sun
Brewed in England according to the beer menu.
Pours a bright golden color with a good amount of lacing down the glass. Smell is grassy, citrus, and lightly sweet. In the taste, moderate bitterness, with a citrusy, earthy, slightly tropical hopping. The yeast fruityness is noted and found in many Fatheads brews. Nicely hopped, light effervescent body, and semi dry finish. Overall, a very nice bitter, with a good hop profile.
