From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This unique brew pours a dark muddled brown with
a nice head of tan foam that subsides to a thick ring, thick clumping layer, and sports
some nice lacing. Nose of vinous wine, subtle tequila, candy sugars, raisin, dates, and
subtle cherry. Flavors find their place nicely with vinous wine, oak, tequila, raisin, date,
Belgian candy sugars, subtle cherry, and nuances of brandy. Mouth feel is medium,
medium light soft carbonation, smooth, warming, and finishing moderately dry.
Overall, a stunner and I hope an indication of other barrel variants to come (HINT!).
Been hoping for a bourbon version but this one fits the bill nicely!
Cheers
