I love hazy IPAs. It is the easiest style to get right. I love Head Hunter too. Together It had to be good.

It pours hazy yellow. The aroma is outstanding - you know what you are getting - a juicy IPA. My sample is exceptionally fresh (a few days old, and from a grocery store, no less). This undoubtedly contributes to the aroma. The whole experience is first rate, at popular prices. My initial reaction was to want a slightly bigger version, but after a couple of these I'm happy as they are - a hazy that won't be mistaken for an imperial but still is over-loaded with juicy taste.

Highly recommended. I hope to be drinking many of these over the next couple months, depending on availability.

Poured from tap, the body is a hazy apricot with a good fluffy head. Very good lacing.

Aroma is citrus, mangoes, orange, peach, berries. No bitterness and not overly sweet. Very soft mouthfeel, light and super easy to drink. A bit danky on finish from simcoe I will guess.

A Head Hunter in name only. I get that marketing lure, but I know Head Hunter and this is no Head Hunter. Is it a good beer? Yes but I'll reach for the standard.

Solidly hazy yellow-orange pineapple OJ with a medium to short white head that's fluffy and foamy leaving cobweb lacing all over the glass.

While I still much prefer the beautifully classic and crisp regular Head Hunter, this is a pretty legit hazy that shows they've definitely practiced well over the years on this style, giving a little more orange in the classic grapefruity cracker character of the "base."
