Otherworldly hats are donned at the brewery when Zeus Juice hits the schedule. This complex and delicate brew is taken seriously here. The melange of fruity, spicy flavors and soft malt character of a traditional Belgian Strong Golden Ale are a high wire balancing act that we nurture very carefully. Tilt your head back, glimpse skyward and enjoy. Ahhh, Nectar of the Gods!

A Belgian Golden Strong Ale with flavors of bubble gum and banana with a spicy phenolic finish. The Belgian candi sugar added in the boil lends a dry body making this drinkable beer fit for the gods.

Head disappears too fast but still plenty of carbonization. Smell is subtle but taste is spot on Belgian. Lots of clove bubble gum and bananas with a crisp dry finish

Quickly dissipating head, yet still a vigorous carbonation, like a soda pop lulz. Blinding gold when held in light as the style suggests but that not what's important here. What is important is it tastes great and it gets you where you're going. Good homage to the Belgian style 4/5

Pours clear copper with minimal head. Smells peppery and lemony and delicious. Has a bit of a boozy bite at first but quickly mellows with notes of clove and banana taffy. It's got candy-like qualities; I also get Big League Chew (the snuff-like bubblegum little leaguers used to -maybe they still do?- pack their maws with) notes. Finishes dry with a medium-to-full body and just a touch too much carbonation.

Bottled on 7/10/19. 12oz bottle poured into a tulip. Clear golden color with a wispy white head. Smell is of sweet spices and malts. Taste has a strong cloves component with other sugary flavors working away. There's a lot going on here. Alcohol at 10% is very well hidden. Mouthfeel is dry but very refreshing.

I almost had this at the Middleburg Heights brewery Sunday but opted for an Oktoberfest festbier instead. Should've gone with this. This is a very well done Belgian Strong Pale Ale.

From the 12 oz bottle in a snifter! This solid little brew pours a
nice golden color with a very nice head of white foam that settles
to a thick ring, thin clumping pool, and displays nice sudsy lacing!
Nose of subtleties. Light peach, light breaded malts, subtle
pepper notes, subtle bubblegum, and sweet candy sugars
with light herbal notes. Flavors expand on the nose very nicely with
bubblegum and candy malts with pear and peach notes mingling with
cracker and light breaded elements dusted with white pepper and
a subtle herbal hop profile. Nice mouth feel; medium body, medium
light carbonation that is lightly effervescent, and a moderately
dry finish.

Overall, a SOLID little brew from a more than solid brewery!

Cheers!

Bottled on 7/10/19. 12oz bottle poured into a tulip. Pours golden with nice clarity and transparency; small white head that fades leaving decent retention and lacing. The aromas are subtle, but nice. Lots of sweet malts. Some banana and bubblegum. Yeasts are there. Hints of pear. The flavors basically follow the nose, but are bolder. More banana and bubblegum. More pear along with some green apple. Candied sugar is there. Some spices, especially black pepper. Decent spiciness. Yeasts and malts do their thing. It finishes slightly warm with some alcohol notes, but it's not boozy or anything like that. Mouthfeel is nice. It's full-bodied with moderate to active carbonation. It's sharp and fluffy.

This is a pretty nice brew. It started a little rough around the edges, but quickly became bold and ultimately balanced. It's a big beer that drinks big, but not in a bad way. There's nice depth to this one. It's enjoyable and fun to drink. I really like it.
