Very Good
Zeus JuiceZeus Juice
Notes: Otherworldly hats are donned at the brewery when Zeus Juice hits the schedule. This complex and delicate brew is taken seriously here. The melange of fruity, spicy flavors and soft malt character of a traditional Belgian Strong Golden Ale are a high wire balancing act that we nurture very carefully. Tilt your head back, glimpse skyward and enjoy. Ahhh, Nectar of the Gods!

A Belgian Golden Strong Ale with flavors of bubble gum and banana with a spicy phenolic finish. The Belgian candi sugar added in the boil lends a dry body making this drinkable beer fit for the gods.

Bottled on 7/10/19. 12oz bottle poured into a tulip. Clear golden color with a wispy white head. Smell is of sweet spices and malts. Taste has a strong cloves component with other sugary flavors working away. There's a lot going on here. Alcohol at 10% is very well hidden. Mouthfeel is dry but very refreshing.

I almost had this at the Middleburg Heights brewery Sunday but opted for an Oktoberfest festbier instead. Should've gone with this. This is a very well done Belgian Strong Pale Ale.

From the 12 oz bottle in a snifter! This solid little brew pours a
nice golden color with a very nice head of white foam that settles
to a thick ring, thin clumping pool, and displays nice sudsy lacing!
Nose of subtleties. Light peach, light breaded malts, subtle
pepper notes, subtle bubblegum, and sweet candy sugars
with light herbal notes. Flavors expand on the nose very nicely with
bubblegum and candy malts with pear and peach notes mingling with
cracker and light breaded elements dusted with white pepper and
a subtle herbal hop profile. Nice mouth feel; medium body, medium
light carbonation that is lightly effervescent, and a moderately
dry finish.

Overall, a SOLID little brew from a more than solid brewery!

Bottled on 7/10/19. 12oz bottle poured into a tulip. Pours golden with nice clarity and transparency; small white head that fades leaving decent retention and lacing. The aromas are subtle, but nice. Lots of sweet malts. Some banana and bubblegum. Yeasts are there. Hints of pear. The flavors basically follow the nose, but are bolder. More banana and bubblegum. More pear along with some green apple. Candied sugar is there. Some spices, especially black pepper. Decent spiciness. Yeasts and malts do their thing. It finishes slightly warm with some alcohol notes, but it's not boozy or anything like that. Mouthfeel is nice. It's full-bodied with moderate to active carbonation. It's sharp and fluffy.

This is a pretty nice brew. It started a little rough around the edges, but quickly became bold and ultimately balanced. It's a big beer that drinks big, but not in a bad way. There's nice depth to this one. It's enjoyable and fun to drink. I really like it.

Pours a hazy, copper color. 1/4 i ch head of an off-white color. Slight retention and good lacing. Smells of strong liquor, alcohol, yeast, and slight bacterial funk. Fits the style of a Belgian Strong Pale Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. There is also a noticeable astringency. Tastes of strong liquor, alcohol, yeast, hint of hop, and slight bacterial funk. Overall, good blend, better body than aroma, and a decent complexity.

This poured out as a slightly cloudy yellow color. The head was white and fizzy, some light lacing and retention. The smell of the beer is grainy and has a pleasant earthy hop aroma. The taste of the beer has a pretty balanced flavor of grains, hops and some minimal spiced notes. The mouthfeel is lively with lots of carbonation to it. Overall this beer is good but not great in my opinion. I feel it could be better but still drinkable and worth trying.

Pours a hazy yellow color with a white head. In the aroma, a sweet to dry banana bubblegum. In the taste, dry candy sugar and a slight banana peel flavor, with notes of alcohol. An alcohol like bite and a medium bodied mouthfeel, with a dry bubblegum sugary aftertaste. A bit dry and a bit boozy, it is decent though.

Pours a deep gold with an off-white head, inch or so, with good retention.

Banana esters with bretty yeast notes and coriander in the nose.

Massive flavor profile here. Bananas, coriander, honey, caramel, buttered bread, and Belgian candi sugar that tends towards an apple-like sweetness. Followed up by a bite of pine hop bitterness.

Full, thick body with a sting of carbonation on the roof of the mouth and boozy warmth going down.

Really good slow sipper of a beer, would have this again and again. Haven't had a beer with a flavor this strong and complex in a while. A must-try.

A- Pours a clear golden color with a thin white head. Head has ok retention and becomes a ring around the edge. Not much lacing left behing.

S- Aroma is dominanted by Beligan yeast and spice. A touch of cracker malts, a bit of banana and a bit of an Earthy smell.

T- Follows the nose really well. Again a huge amount of Beligan yeast and spice. These two dominant just about everything this brew has to offer. Very light fruits.

M- Medium in body and a good amount of carbonation.

O- I'm not really caring for this one. If you really like Beligan styles you might like this one.
