The beer foams aggressively when I pour it into a sniffer. The enormously high head is airy and warm pale brown. The clear liquid is deep red (27 EBC). Some lacing occurs.
The smell got fresh strong bitter flavours. Some bitter oranges and grapefruits, chocolate, fruit candy, hints of perfume and grilled meat.
The taste is semi-sweet with a fine balance between the citric/fruity medium bitter hops and the chocolaty creamy malt. Some steak flavours, bitter oranges, hints of prunes and raisins. The aftertaste is sweet and malty with a balancing clean bitterness. A slight dry hint of dried berries in the finish.
The carbonation is medium to strong, the large bubbles are fresh. The liquid is semi-smooth.
A pleasant modern (hoppy) red ale.

The color is light brown with hints of orange red, an dark off-white head that leaves some lacing.
The smell is mainly a melon and grass smoothie. With some crackers sprinkled at the top.
Initially bread and porridge, some fruit nuances, pears, green peels. Lemon zest.
Medium carbonation, small bubbles, smooth and fresh, a good dry finish.
Well balanced and good and dry, possibly lacking that little extra.
