Brewed at The Proef, Belgium.

The colour is dark gold (7 EBC), the liquid is clear. The large log-lasting head is off-white. It sinks very slowly leaving lots of lacing.

The smell is very hoppy and bitter. American notes of grape fruit. Some sweetness, too.

The taste is loaded with hops. Grape fruit, orange peels and lime juice. Overall, the flavours are fresh. Light to medium body. The malts are in the background, adding some sweetness and lots of caramel. Some flowery notes. The aftertaste is bitter, clean and balanced. The long lastin finish got fresh grapefruit flavours.

The carbonation is fresh, the small bubbles shortlived. The liquid is somewhat smooth.

Perhaps a little one-handed on it’s own, but in company with a chili, this beer works really well.

The beer is hazy dark straw colored, has a high light off-white head good lacing but small curtains.

Smelling citric, lemon, lime and grape-fruit.

Tasting toffee, grape-fruit marmalade and peel.

Medium carbonation, fresh, a medium small body, a dry finish.

A nice well hoped Swedish-American Pale Ale, served far to cold as always on Texas Longhorn. But in all a good beer to their steaks.
