A: Pours slightly hazy orange with a tall creamy lovely off-white head. It dissipates slowly leaving kind of nice lacings.
S: Sweet malt, syrupy. Lots and lots of dark dried fruits. Some bitterness. Bready and quite complex.
T: Very sweet, but also a bit rough - this would benefit from a couple of years rest in my beer-storage. Lots of malt and dark dried fruits. Chocolate. Some bitter hops.
M: Bitter and harsh aftertaste, pretty long. Body is full while carbonation is low - just like it should.
O: The smell makes this a better beer than it is - The smell holds a complexity that doesn't come out in the taste or the mouthfeel; it feels rough and unbalanced. I think 3-4 years of proper cellaring would improve this beer enromously.
