The colour is amber (20 EBC), the liquid is a bit cloudy. The three finger head is airy and warm white, nice crater. It sinks slowly leaving some lacing. There is yeast sediment in the bottle.
The smell is sweet with some honey and toffee. Citric notes, grapefruits and lemons. It feels fresh and modern.
The taste is bitter and semi-dry. Earthy hints of yeast and banana peels. Some grapefruits and orange peels. Low body. The aftertaste is bitter with green American hops, banana peels and some alcohol. The finish is smooth with citric hops and caramel.
The carbonation is strong, the mid-sized bubbles sharp. The liquid is light.
A modern hoppy American lager (maybe the hops are a bit too green). Not much of a Märtzen, though.

The beer is clouded murky straw colored, a warm off-white head leaving loads of lacing, small curtains.
Smelling fresh citric and herbal, lime, grape-fruit and fresh cut grass.
A small sweet white bread start, then bitter grape-fruit, juice, peel and seeds.
Medium high carbonation, fresh with a small body, a short rather intense dry finish.
A real nice summer lager (!), very refreshing aroma hops, a very AIPAish lager.

A: The beer is dark golden colored with some haze. The two finger high head is creamy and off-white. It is surprisingly sturdy and refuses to dissolve. Nice lacings on the glass.
S: The smell is fresh and fruity. I can find pineapples, peaches, pears and grapes mixed together with some grassy tones.
T: The taste is very much like the smell. It is very fruity with pineapples, peaches and pears but it also has a dryer grapefruit and orange peel flavour. The bitterness is nice and clean. Nicely balanced.
M: Medium body with medium carbonation. The carbonation has small but sticky bubbles.
O: Not what I expected from a Oktoberfest beer. It feels like a cross breed between a classic Oktoberfest beer and an American Pale Ale. The result is nice though.
