The colour is almost black (80 EBC), the liquid clear. The brown head sinks slowly leaving some lacing.
The smell got notes of black coffee and a clean bitterness. Some burned notes. Overall clean flavours.
A grand bitterness starts the flavours, it is like a bitter IPA. Some roasted flavours and tart hints than can emerge from the coffee or the black malts (if there are any in this). Anonymous citric flavours in the background. The bitterness got cooling mint hints. Grapefruit peels in the background. The body is light to medium. Pleasant citric bitter flavours in the aftertaste. Otherwise, the aftertaste is a bit empty and short with mild notes of coffee tartness. Toasted flavours in the finish.
The carbonation is stong, the many bubbles small. The liquid is light and dry.
Not as much coffee flavours or hops as I had hoped for.
