The colour is brown-red (25 EBC), the liquid is clear. The beige compact three finger head sinks to a thick uneven lid leaving some lacing.
The smell is hoppy and somewhat sweet. Cream caramel / toffee, dried fruits, red apples, plums and orange peel. Roses. Medium bitterness, well integrated in the fruits. Hints of biscuits.
The taste is bitter with initial notes of coffee. Dried fruits, some alcohol, hints of aged cheese and plums. Malty notes of chocolate, biscuits and red berries. Tart hints in the background (gooseberries, rhubarb). Quite a lot of resin and green plants. Medium body. Growing alcohol and resin in the aftertaste. Raspberry jam and a touch of earth. The bitter flavours becomes a bit rough in the finish which also includes some hash flavours.
The liquid is light (and a bit harsh), the carbonation mild to medium with small short lived bubbles.
Today, there are lots and lots of IPAs to choose from. This is not one of the better.

A: The color is dark copper while the medium tall and compact head is beige. Pretty nice lacigns, after a little while.
S: Caramell malt is dominated by tropical fruits and pine; both floral and bitter hops. Pineapple stands out in the tropical fruit.
T: Some sweetness up front, from the slightly roasted caramell malt. Rich bitter hops is followed by some modest tropical fruits from floral hops; grapefruits, pineapples and some bitter orange peel.
M: Rather thin body, considering the style. Smooth carbonation, rather rich but all very small bubbles. Aftertaste is medium long and very bitter.
O: A rather nice take on easter - this will work nicely with the sturdy swedish easterfood.
