had on tap at the Baby Bar in Spokane, WA.
thin mouth feel, fairly crisp with moderate carbonation.
clean lemon zest notes with a mild floral hop presence in the finish.
really not much to say about this beer, didn't expect much from it, so I guess it didn't disappoint.
Coincidentally, my blonde friend that doesn't really like beer enjoyed it!

The folks at Riverport are keenly aware that they brew craft ales in a macro lager environment. For that reason they require at least one modest crossover beer such as this straw-yellow blonde ale. As one might expect, Blonde Moment is a quiet beer of minimalist design. A slight touch of wheat in the grain bill adds a dry touch in the finish, but the beer's identity forms around a slight, lingering sweetness. Bitterness is restrained at 20 IBU.
As blondes go, this one doesn't reach far afield. Carbonation is all but absent, the aroma is too faint to appreciate, and it loses suds early. Its one redeeming feature is its fully textured mouthfeel.
