On tap at the brewery I would class it as a West Coast.
A pretty good around IPA.

On tap at the brewery 2.18.11.

Hazy amber orange body, 1 finger white head, medium dissipation with good lacing, no visible carbonation. Citrusy nose, grapefruit upfront, some caramel for balance. Taste mirrors the nose, good dose of bitterness on the backend, citrus, some pine. Mouthfeel medium, above average bitter finish, medium effervescence. Decent drinkability, but this is one bitter beer, not for the uninitiated.

The 4.8% ABV listed on the house menu seems inappropriately low for an IPA. Still, seven hops additions make this Riverport's hoppiest ale - at least on paper. The aroma shows honeysuckle hop sweetness and the taste is workable for an IPA though not exotic or extreme. For all its professed devotion to hops, Seven Devils is not unduly hoppy in flavor or bitterness. The unfiltered body is clear yellow-gold with a light soapy head, though as with all Riverport beers, it is undercarbonated. It also turns slightly tannic in the finish.

Named for a mountain range near Hell's Canyon.
