On tap at brewery 2.18.11.
1/2 finger white head, medium dissipation, above average lacing, light gold body a bit hazy, visible carbonation small bubbles. Heavy citrus notes in nose, grapefruit. Taste doesn't feature a lot of hop presence, flowery, more of a British Pale Ale than an APA, biscuit, got more bitter as it warmed. Mouthfeel is on the thin side of medium, not a lot of effervescence. Drinkability is ok, but a bit lemony yeast profile created some palate fatigue after first class.

The pale ale appears a golden orange color with about a finger worth of white head.
It smells citrusy, a tad bit of caramel and a bit grassy.
It tastes primarily of herbal and citrusy hops that add a nice amount of bitterness to the finish. The hop flavor is balanced by a small amount of sweet malty flavor. This beer is very smooth but it has substantial flavor and is fairly hoppy.
The carbonation is moderately low but the carbonation is noticeable and is not nonexistent. The low carbonation makes the beer quite drinkable because it doesn't fill you up.
In the area I'm living in this is one of my go to beers. When I just want a nice simple well made beer that I can drink a few of, I go for this.
This is not a revolutionary beer it is just a very well made fairly hoppy light pale ale that is perfect for hot weather.

This drastically uncarbonated pale ale is brewed to an English design. That's not to say it is deliberately uncarbonated, but draws some inspiration from the style of English bitters. It is clear pale gold with no suds and tastes of a bland wash of tepid sweetness and wilted, herbaceous bittering.
Mild mannered to the point of disinterest.
