Had on tap at Riverport brewing company. The name of the beer has an interesting story behind it. To put it short a family member of one of the brewers who is in the navy got called in to settle a domestic dispute. A man got hit in the head with an iron by his girlfriend and the man who got hit in the head didn't know that an iron was called an iron so he called it a smoove because you smoothed the clothes out with it.
Appears a medium brown color with a sizeable tan color head.
Smells mildly like toffee, smoked malts, and lemon rinds.
Taste is very smooth and subdued. There is the sweetness and smokiness found in brown ales but it is very mild. It is very light for brown ale. It has the drinkability and lightness of blonde ale or other light refreshing beer. This is a perfect summer beer. The carbonation is medium low. The drinkability is amazing I could drink these all day.
The brewers only brewed twelve kegs of this but due to the fact that alot of people like it they might brew more.
