Had this on 2019-08-18 in Bethel Park, PA from a growler I bought yesterday at their brewery in Pittsburgh.
A - Clear gold with a 2.5-finger white head and nice lace.
S - White bread, honey, white grape, noble spice. Inviting.
T - Sourdough bread, herbal, light white grape, hint of pepper. Not as sweet as indicated by the aroma and hence on the more bitter side for a Helles.
M - Medium body and carbonation. Fairly dry.
O - It's certainly a decent Helles but not in my top 10

Draft offering at the Pittsburgh location. The brew appears a clear light yellow color with a white cap that holds fairly decent for the style.
The aroma has suggestions of sweetness that seem like an awkward amount of corn that blends to a neutral grainy quality before buttery diacetyl comes into play. A faint amount of herbal to noble hops are present providing a lightly grassy addition.
The taste is sweet and corn-like with a minor buttery diacetyl note and a sweet grain feel persists into the aftertaste. It has a lingering mild sulfur note into the aftertaste.
This is a light bodied brew with a modest amount of carbonation. It is not the worst in the style but not the best either. An OK offering that I would probably pass on having again.

LOOK: Pours a perfectly clear gold into a liter mug. White lace is left sticking to the sides if the class. Active carbonation rises busily to the surface.
SMELL: Crisp, crackery malt profile and quite bready.
TASTE: Bready malt and just enough herbal, minty hop character. Bready, fresh tasting malts. Creamy malt character and a light soothing hoppiness. This is a Premium Lager.
FEEL: Lighter bodied, smooth and quite refreshing.
OVERALL: A nice lighter lager from Hofbrauhaus Pittsburgh, but still with ample flavor.
