A: dark autumn color can barely see through the pint. Fat head with lacing mor clingy than a gf with an absentee father.

S: Not this beers fault but I don't like the way bocks smell. This smells like a bock.

T: D-liscious. None of the butthole yeast smell transfers to the taste. Up front brings a rich full sweetish flavor with hints of roasted coffee and chocolate. There is a perfect hop balance with a touch of caramel in the finish.

M: Medium to full bodied.

O: Only my 5th doppleboch but I liked it a lot. Tasty beer and fast becoming one of my favorite genres.

Draught @ Brewpub: This one pours a clear, coppery amber color. There was a fairly decent off white head that subsided rather quickly and left no lacing. The beer has a big caramel malty nose. Some hints of fruit notes and a faint smokiness. Big malty, somewhat sweet taste. Slight smokiness and a hint of roastiness. A hint of dryness in the finish. Nice.
