Pours a light hazy blonde, someone akin to a scrumpy as previously mentioned. Head is lively, retention mediocre, lacing is superb for a hoppy pale ale.

Aroma is average, plenty of hops, but consumed by sherberty sweetness.

Taste is good, actually very light on the buds, and not as hoppy as I was anticipating....which for me is a bonus! A mild malty bitterness, but leaves a lasting impression on the tongue.

Feel is also good, despite the artificial sweetness of the aroma, this is surprisingly smooth going down.

Overall a very solid beer, worthy of more reviews and a slightly higher BA score....better than a Leffe royal houblon in my opinion

Looks like cidre. Herbal smell. There is really two stages of stage.
On the one hand-side, a rather citrus taste, and on the other hand-side more of a bitter taste.
All in all, it really feels like a cidre.

300ml bottle, poured into Stone snifter.

A: Dark golden, clear, lively looking, decent sized head which gave the impression it had somewhere else to be, some lacing clung to the side of the glass.

S: Phenols and a bit of citrus, almost a bit like fairy liquid.

T: Initially heavy on the phenols, this gave way to some earthy starchy bitterness.

M: Medium body, well carbonated.

O: Barely distinguishable from Affligem Blonde, OK but not special.
