On tap at the source. Poura a cloudy orange gold with a thin head that dissipates quickly. Bready malt light earthy floral and citrus with a bit of aspirin like astringency. Not bad for a country tick.

330 ml red bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5%. My first beer ever from a red bottle, and also my first beer from Monaco, even though the bottled version is brewed in France by EMB 67202 (= Brasserie Météor) for Brasserie de Monaco. The bottled version is apparently filtered. Clear pale golden colour, moderate white head. Fairly strong aroma of grassy hops. Soft mouthfeel. Crisp pilsener flavour, medium dry, with fairly distinct bittering hops. A decent pilsener, no more, no less.

As "pils de Monaco" on-draught @ the brewpub in Spring 2016.
Not much of a pils - more a blonde lager - but likable nonetheless.

Classed as their 'Pils' on the brewpub menus, this is a cloudy golden beer with a good white head and obviously unfiltered. 0.3 Litre, tall glass sat outside in bright sunshine on 18th Sep 2013.
The aroma had citrus notes in it, lemon mostly, with a yeast smell in the background.
The taste was also semi-citrus and again with a background of yeast flavouring, some malt sweetness as the beer warmed in the sun: refreshing and not too bad.

The beer is hazy pale golden with half finger thick head and good retention, patchy lacing. Aroma is sweetish malt with herbal hops.
Taste is clean and bittery citrusy herbal hops with light spice and citrus aftertaste. Light mouthfeel with medium-high carbonation.
Overall, a nice and well-made Pilsener.
