Snowy Mountain Brewery

This is one of our look-forward-to stops on our annual vacation in Wyoming. We especially enjoy the outdoor Biergarten. The beers are almost without exception good to excellent, the food is always good, and we‘ve rarely been disappointed in the service.

An always-enjoyable treat after backpacking in the Snowy or Sierra Madre mountains.

Brewery attached to the Saratoga Inn with a full bar and restaurant as well as an outdoor seating area ("biergarten") the brewery area is blocked off but visible and is decent sized with nice equipment and seemingly the capacity to make a goodly amount of beer. Food was quite good.

The beer really shocked me to be honest. As a native Wyomingite from the area, I've gotten used to being wary of random breweries in small towns, but damned if they didn't pretty much nail the three styles I tried. Clean, good head, fresh, well-brewed, to style and with no off-flavors or handling issues. A fairly broad selection of styles and a very good IPA which is usually the worst style at little places like this. Kudos to whoever the brewer is.
