Paupa New Guinea Beer. Cool beans
Found in Nadi, Fiji.
330 ML Can poured into a rocks glass
A-- Poured a bright, straw yellow color. One finger bright white head that slowly fades to a layer of film. Good early showing of carbonation but bubbles fade away after initial pour.
S-- Thin and watery smell. Just faint bits of spicy hops and I think corn like smell. Just very, very faint. Nothing special.
T-- Highly carbonated, spicy but grainy taste. Little bit of sweet bread, not grassy at all.
M-- Highly carbonated and very light. Slightly creamy. Little bit of bread and faint spicy hops. Long lasting prickly finishing feel. Honestly want to say this is an adjunct but the feel is not that way at all. Too clean and crisp.
O-- Packaging alone makes this cool. Good looking can. Clean and pretty easy to drink. A little too much carbonation for me. Once again when warm still good to drink. Probably would be a beer of choice if I lived on the Equator as this fits the profile of what would be good for that part of the world.
