A: The beer is hazy brown in color. It poured with a short white head that settled down rather quickly, leaving lacing on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of nutty and toasted malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, but has stronger flavors of nutty and toasted malts along with some hints of roasted coffee beans and a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels a bit more than light-bodied and thin on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The hops in this beer seem to be rather muted, so it's closer in line with the English Brown Ale style compared to the American Brown Ale style.

Decent, but small head. Leaves a thin layer of bubbles throughout the tasting. Not much lace, though. The liquid is very cloudy, making the beer look like muddy water.
Deeper toasted white bread aroma. Very light cocoa in background with just a touch of hop.
There's a yeasty flavor in addition to the above mentioned notes. The hop is a bit more pronounced in the taste. Good body, particularly for the style. There's also ample carbonation. Overall, it's really quite nice.

Damnit, I really wanted to like this one. I had to wait 10 minutes for the massive khaki head to dissipate before I sampled what smells and tastes like a light lager. Darker, maltier and fairly well balanced, there's just not much going on in terms of flavor. Sessionable, I suppose.

330ml bottle. Wine glass. Dried nuts & wood as cap is removed. Pure brown color headed by poor but lasting crown, beige in color. Some spots are left & thin steam of yeast floats on top. Fresh aromas of toasted malts, rounded by hints of cocoa & dark fruits on the back. Creamy, toasted & chocolated upfront followed by herbal bitterness. Medium to light body. Moderate carbonation. Spicy touch, dried nuts, underneath cocoa & wood join persistent bitterness & linger into a dry bitter finish. Dried aftertaste. Rounded, well balanced & easy drinkable. Nice pairing with nachos & fudge cheeses. –Enjoyed in a refreshing & paused drink while listening Ramone’s Out of Time.

Picked this up at BierCab Barcelona and actually got to meet Marky Ramone! Murky coffee-brown pour with a one finger off-white head with nice retention and lacing. Nice malty nose with big hints of coffee along with brown sugar, toffee, caramel, and fresh hops. The taste follows suit with strong coffee notes and nice hoppiness along with hints of caramel, toffee, and brown sugar. The mouthfeel is a bit thin, with good carbonation, great drinkability, and perfect balance. Overall, I was expecting this to be nothing more than a gimmick beer, but it's definitely not. A very nice interpretation of the style that I wish I had more of.
